I was also an initiator and main contributor of the University’s ridesharing application.

I worked in a team of three developers building a SOAP-based service-oriented application in C# WCF. The application serves customer needs worldwide in the broadcast industry. Development of a workforce management software for ground handling operators at airports. I worked in a team of four developers building a C# WPF front-end application. My main focus was integrating the front-end with a Java back-end. The position required an advanced knowledge of the full technology stack and good communication skills.
Algorithmic solutions for the coupling of European electricity markets. I worked in a team of five developers building a single-threaded Java console application. The application solves a mixed-integer programming problem using the IBM CPLEX solver. The program has computed the optimal power exchanges on the European day-ahead electricity market every day since 2010.
I did my PhD thesis as a FNRS research fellow (a highly selective belgian research grant).
